I recently bought this product and found that the ball on the end of the post is slightly smaller than my OEM Nuvi bracket receiver socket. That results in the GPS unit flopping all around on the bracket. This issue should have been addressed by providing the other half of the bracket with this product so that they would mate tightly. I’ve ended up putting a layer of tape around the ball to make it fit tighter and so far it seems to work…..I wouldn’t recommend this product until they provide the other half of the product.

The RAM marine grade aluminum mount with motorcycle brake/clutch adaptor base includes a 1” diameter ball and socket system with RAM plastic cradle for the Magellan Explorist 100, 200, 210, 300, 400, 500, 500 LE, and 600. The base attaches to the left or right side of your handlebar brake/clutch clamp on the Honda Goldwing and other similar style motorcycles. To check your motorcycle’s compatibility with this mounting base, measure the center to center hole dimensions of your brake/clutch clamp. The holes centers have a minimum width of .94″ and a maximum of 1.58″. Manufactured in the USA and comes with RAM Lifetime Warranty.
